SFS designed the NV3 system to help achieve the clean aesthetics valued in modern architecture, all the while providing the strength and reliability needed for lasting performance. Manufactured from 6005 T6 aluminum alloy, NV3 offers an ideal combination of low weight, high strength, and ease of fabrication.

- NV3 is the NVELOPE system for concealed fastening/mechanically attached applications—vertical cladding applications.
- Secured using hangers and fasteners to provide a concealed attachment.
- Horizontal NVELOPE carrier rails are secured to the vertical profiles. Rainscreen panels are hung from and secured to the horizontal profiles with hangers and adjustable hangers.

- Hidden hangers keep the visual focus on the façade, free from exposed fixings.
Mechanical Security
- Rainscreen panels are mechanically seated onto horizontal carrier rails and held in place with tested hangers and fasteners.
Broad material compatibility
- NV3 supports a wide range of façade materials, including high-pressure laminate (HPL), ceramic, thin stone, fibre cement, and more.
Load management
- Fixed and sliding flexible bracket to rail attachments points distribute weight and manage wind loads and dead loads effectively.

6005A‑T6 aluminum alloy: chosen for performance and sustainability
The NV3 system utilizes 6005A-T6 extruded aluminum alloy, chosen for its balance of low weight and high tensile strength. This grade surpasses the performance of typical aluminum alloys used in façade systems. Aluminum’s inherent resistance to corrosion enables strong performance in challenging environments, and an anodized finish optimizes these protective qualities. The result is rainscreen assemblies rigorous enough to withstand the roughest of weather.

- Meets the compliance requirements of ASHRAE 90.1 and NFPA 285.
Options
- NVELOPE brackets: allows adjustment between the face of the primary support to outer face of vertical profile.
- Thermal isolators: hard PVC isolator assembled as standard (located between the NVELOPE bracket and the primary structural support system).
