NVELOPE NVF2F floor to floor subframe system
NVF2F is the NVELOPE subframe system suitable for vertical floor to floor cladding applications
The NVELOPE NVF2F is a high-performance aluminum subframe system purpose-built for vertical, floor-to-floor cladding applications where intermediate bracket attachment is not feasible. Engineered to support fiber cement, high-pressure laminate (HPL), aluminum composite material (ACM), and metal rainscreen panels, the NVF2F system delivers outstanding design flexibility, allowing for greater span distances than conventional bracket solutions.
Each bracket is securely anchored to the building with primary fasteners and provides integrated adjustment for quick and precise façade alignment, eliminating the need for excessive shimming. The robust, adaptable design enables contractors to achieve secure, perfectly aligned facades across the most challenging project requirements.
NVF2F brackets
Rail to bracket assembly
Ready for facade panels
Precision alignment with heightened efficiency
Effortless adaptability: Each bracket allows for on-site fine-tuning to accommodate structural tolerances and ensure a flawless, level façade across floor-to-floor spans.
No additional tools needed: Bracket design secures rails without the need for specialized tools, reducing onsite labor and maximizing installation speed.
Streamlined installation: NVF2F brackets feature tactical guide marks and an adjustment range of up to 1-1/2", enabling quick, precise alignment without the need for excessive shimming.
Features
- NVF2F is a vertical back frame system for floor to floor spanning.
- Floor to floor box and box-T profiles are fixed to the structure using brackets. The brackets transfer wind load and panel dead load to the structure and accommodate thermal loads as well as floor deflection.
- Bracket spacing and rail spanning capabilities are determined by factors such as the dimensions and weight of the facade panels and local wind loads.
Bracket and Rail strength achieved through 6005A-T6 aluminum
- Uncompromised durability: The aluminum’s inherent resistance to corrosion ensures longevity even in challenging environments.
- Minimized thermal bridging: Hard PVC thermal isolators work in conjunction with the aluminum system to reduce energy loss and deliver code-compliant thermal performance.
- Responsible sourcing: NVF2F aluminum profiles are made from low-carbon alloy, typically containing around 60% recycled content, supporting project sustainability goals.
Options
- NVELOPE brackets: allow adjustment between the face of the primary support to outer face of vertical profile.
- Thermal isolators: hard PVC isolator assembled as standard (located between the bracket and the primary structural support system) are available. The isolators allow rainscreen installations to benefit from the low thermal conductivity values associated with reduced thermal bridging within the design.
