SFS optimized every part of the #12 XG screw to maximize its performance during installation and beyond. The sharp drill point will enable smooth, clean, fast piercing of the wood with minimal risk of cracking or splintering, even if with OSB. The extra-aggressive thread design produces an unbeatable grip while minimizing the risk of strip-out. And the head design provides stability during application and minimal appearance afterward.
Use the zinc-plated #12 XG pancake head clip screw with plywood, pine, or OSB for standing seam clip attachment that won’t waver.

Standing seam panel clip attachment to wood substrate
- Tools; 0–2500 rpm screw gun equipped with depth sensing nose piece.
- Special care needs to be taken when installing into wood substrate less than 1" in thickness. Stripping or partially stripping the fastener out during installation compromises the clamp load and can affect the performance of the fastener.
- Use of impact guns or hammer drills is not recommended.
